BREAKING: A car Leap Into Lagos Lagoon

At about 7pm yesterday, a car leap into the Lagos lagoon in Bonny Camp, Victoria Island.

According to an eye witness who craved anonymity, the car whose brand and model was not known is said to have in it a driver, a mother and her child. She said the driver was struggling to reverse for reasons unknown to her before the car dived into the lagoon.

The driver was rescued almost immediately but the family whereabouts is yet to be ascertain as at report time. Local divers, NEMA and other officials has been working assiduously to rescue the victims and as well ease the congestion of traffic it caused on the road.

Though no casualty record yet as we wait for the official report of  the National Emergency Management Authority and the Police.
